General Guidelines
Applicable to all stands
1.
All advertising and logos must be within specified height limits and must not be sited on the back of dividing walls where they overhang an adjoining stand.
2.
All structures, signs, and exhibits must be contained within the allotted area and may not project into or over the gangway.
3.
All painting must use water-based paint. Oil or cellulose-based finishes are prohibited onsite.
4.
Stand structures must be self-supporting. Nothing may be suspended from the roof or fixed to building structures or the hall floor.
5.
Exhibitors are responsible for examining the site pre-show to account for obstructions or pillars. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for site adjustments.
6.
Solid timber under 25mm thick and boards/plywood under 18mm thick must be pressure-treated to CLASS 1 flame resistant standard and BS476 marked.
7.
Use of plastic below CLASS 1 BS476 is prohibited. Perspex must not be used.
8.
Textile fabrics must be flameproofed to BS5438 and BS5852. They must be secured taut to a solid backing, at least 3 inches above floor level.
9.
The company name and stand number must be displayed prominently on each side of the stand.
10.
All work must be carried out using non-flammable material.
11.
The Organiser reserves the right to remove or alter any part of a stand at the exhibitor's expense if deemed necessary for safety.
12.
Doors leading to enclosed areas must have a vision panel of at least 200mm diameter and must not open directly onto a gangway.
13.
Balloons are allowed but require a waiver. Helium gas and gas cylinders are strictly prohibited on site.
14.
Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring their contractors abide by these regulations and relevant legislation.
15.
Lone working is prohibited. All persons must have at least one colleague present at all times.
16.
Gangways must remain clear of all obstructions at all times to allow emergency access.
17.
Children under 16 are not permitted in the hall during build and breakdown periods.
18.
Exhibitor banners suspended above stands require prior permission from the organisers.
