Exhibitor Licences
To ensure your stand activity complies with venue and legal regulations, please review the requirements below.
Required Licences
You may need to obtain specific licences for the following stand activities:
- Entertainment
- Music (PPL / PRS) and Video (VPL)
- Cinema or public viewing of films
- Use of smoke machines
- Use of lasers
- Special therapy treatments
Sound Levels: Music and commentary for demonstrations, videos, or presentations must be kept at a reasonable level, not exceeding 80dBa. Exhibitors failing to comply with this rule may have their power supply disconnected.
If you intend to use live music, you must obtain the relevant licence from the Performing Rights Society to cover composer royalties. Contact them on 0845 309 3090 or email musiclicences@prs.co.uk.
Please Note: Live music OR pre-recorded music is NOT permitted on exhibitors stands. If you intend to play other forms of audio for your demonstration, please contact the Organiser for approval.
